On the 'Wings' of INSTRU-INFOSYS

Here is a brief profile of the nep (characters) that made up the best wing that ever existed on the holy sands of Pilani.

Kash: prides on being the casanova of the wing. After engrossing himself in Instru D Courses he modelled his life as a flip-flop and from then on his life has been a story of flops at flips . Firmly beleives that computers are the best thing that has happened to mankind and is currently "studying" Playboys and Penthouses at Delaware University. His attitude towards 'friendships'stands out as a shining example for the rest of the neps. Favorite soap : Lux. Favorite Place : Nehru Park, CEERI .Favorite animal : Plucked,'potted', chicken (phrase patent : mallu)

Stuka: hails from the country village of Ranipet and has shown great talent in diff & integration. Lives near Mysore in a city called Bangalore and works for CITIL. That will most probably change soon to"lives near Tuscon in a city called Boston" . He is one of the last neps in the wing still living in India. At one time in his Bitsian carrer, he had four reasons to lose his nep-ness, but didn't (or couldn't?). Goes to prove the old adage : quantiy doesn't matter , Quality Time does!

Favorite Place : D.C., BITS

Mani: is pursuing an M.S in C.S inspite of physics beinghis first love. He is as much known for his "systematicness" as his clumsiness. Walks like a monkey but carries an alarm clock whenever he travels by train. Hopes to write Romeo and Juliet some day, under a full moon. He lost his nep status in the second year. He claims he is still one though but he is to get married soon. The case rests.

Place he hates most : SKYLAB, BITS

Mayur : A pyromaniac who almost burnt up B.I.T.S one fine night. A more interesting issue though is his current dilemma if he is a 'fire' type or not. A great collector of 'stones' and does everything 'by choice'. He is currently doing research at Daimler Benz Research Center with inputs, now and then, from IIM-B. Interested in wildlife (mostly birds, the younger the better, is his current philosophy) and can be, very often, found in the weekends, at Bannerghata. A die-hard 'masala-monger' who claims to be among 'The last of the true neps'.

Favorite Place : None yet but looks like he will soon have one

Ramsu otherwise known as Gangaikondan Sundarrajan Ramasubramanian is a reincarnation of Shakespere, at least that is what he thinks. Loves long walks. With a great appetite for Music and "fundoo" books he is the wing's only representative at the I.I.M's. He hopes to pass out before he is forty and looks forward to a life when his NIGS (cf. Kdlai) will earn him big bucks. He is getting therealready. Favorite Place : Victoria Memorial Favorite Line : Here I come(pun intended), fountainhead.

Mukul: Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to name him Sukul for most of his eventful life has revolved around the letter "S". A man with extraordinary ghoting abilities, he prides on being a true all-'rounder'. He is currently at UIUC, though he is most likely to switch to sanagement (management of S) in the near future. His idol right now is Anupam Kher(isn't hard to guess why). Of course, there are exceptions to every rule and his one exception has been a G. Place he hates most : IPC immidiately followed by ANC, BITS

Rajiv : is as much known among girls for his big-brotherly attitude as he is known among guys for his large bums. He really needs them, since he is always at the recieving end. His passion is cooking (food), and would have been a great chef had he not had the bad luck of getting into BITS, but that was amply compensated by the wingies he got. Basically a P.R. man, he is now engaged in research at T.C.S's Research Labs, Pune.

Goli : alias Amarnath like everbody else can be described as both a particle and wave. He is a well rounded particle weighing about 80 kilos and has an almost perfect sine wave but with a very high amplitude. The chirpy guy of the wing, he is a bundle of enthu(when on the ascent). Now doing M.S in C.S at Arizona, his latest endaevour is try to 'integrate' into American culture by dying his hair blond and piercing his ear ,nose, navel and other un-mentionable body parts. Favourite Place : C'not, BITS

Kdlai: Perhaps nobody else's name reflectes so accurately his personality as it does for this 'man'. As STUCCAN Art n Dec he almost single handedly assured the success of Oasis 96. Currently at OSU, he beleives that when you kick a person you must do so standing on a bed. Of course he has got a charming smile. His most 'potent' asset though is his posterior. We are not talking anatomy here, but what comes out of that 'anatomy'. There is even a standard for this : NIG. 0.1NIG has the capability to make everybody in the range of 10 metres to gasp and run away, if they haven't fainted by then, And, please note, only Kdlai has the capacity of 1 NIG. And it is a logarithmic scale. Favorite Place : On the train from Aurangabad to Delhi??

VP : not to be confused with PV, though they have similar traits. A born, die-hard, hard-boiled nep, if ever there was one. Such adulation, U may say, is atypical from a nep page, but VP deserves every bit of it. The day a apocalypse happens, U can be sure VP has managed to look straight into the eyes of a girl. Currently at Hughes in Gurgaon, somewhere near Delhi. No, No, not the stuka kind of "lives in A near B" type. VP is a true nep, remember? Believes all women are similar to the female species of dog, and if not for them, IQ of the world would have been double of what it is at present, if not more. The last bit is due to his observation that IQ of men reduces exponentially as their interaction with women increases. Now, are U satisfied with the polemics we have given him?
Favorite/Most-Hated Place : Too NEP to have one (probably never will....)
